Outback at Isa is excited to announce the return of our popular Mini Miner School Holiday Program at the Hard Times Underground Mine these school holidays.
Designed for children who love adventure, hands-on learning and discovering how mining helped shape Mount Isa, the program offers a unique behind-the-scenes experience in a safe and engaging environment.
Mini Miner School Holiday Program
Location: Outback at Isa – Hard Times Underground Mine
Cost: $45 per child (Ages 7+)
3 Hours of Fun!
Program Includes:
• Guided underground mine tour
• Interactive mining-themed activities
• Hands-on learning experiences
• Light lunch provided
• All safety equipment supplied, Enclosed shoes must be worn.
Participants will explore the hard times underground mine, learn about the history of mining in Mount Isa, and enjoy a range of fun activities designed to inspire curiosity and teamwork.
Students must be fully toilet trained to attend the program.
Parents & Guardians are welcome to remain in centre for the duration of the tour, or why not book in and tag along!
